Linda Kates 59, is a busy Health Care consult and Mom who joined The Body Firm 4 years ago.
She worked out consistently with us for 2 years moved for her business for 2 years and recently returned to Fort Worth.
She said the first thing she did when she got back in town was to rejoin out program.
Linda has always worked out and stayed in shape in some manner for the past 40 years.
So the question you might ask is why would someone who “knows how to exercise” already join and stay in our program?
Linda shares that “The people that are here in the program make all the difference. The coaches get to know you, your strengths and weaknesses, and they make sure you SHOW UP!”
The key to staying in shape year after year is to “Come again and again and again, even on those days you just don’t want too.”.
Linda shares the #1 nutrition tip she has found has helped keep her diet healthy and on track year after year.
This one thing helped keep her eating on track even when kids, social, and professional challenges would be pulling her in 100 different directions.
She also talks about tips for staying on track with your nutrition during business lunches and dinners when you have little or no control over what you’re being fed.
Linda also contrasts the difference between how easy it is to stay consistent when you work with a coach and a solid group as opposed to “on your own” or in a group so large you get lost in the mix and theres no accountability.
Having chronic bad knees hasn’t slowed her down either.
She tells how her coach helps her work around her limitations while protecting her joints and getting her stronger and more flexible at the same time.
Finally she gives her best advice to women who may be intimidated by a fitness program and what ONE action they should take to move toward their goals to get and stay fit for life.
