You hear the phrase “finish strong” or “last set best set” at the end of a workout.
That comes from the old gym superstition that your brain really only remembers the last set of your workout.
And that last set, sets the tone for your next workout.
You’re always looking for just a little more intensity in your next workout.
And it’s good conditioning to really focus in and give it everything you’ve got when you’re already spent.
This workout tests that finisher mentality.
Can you, will you, push when you’re already tired….
The “Finisher” exercise here is a Tabata so don’t plan on needing to be anywhere soon after you’re done with this workout.
You may just have to sit there for a while.
